How does Great Heights Trust
support reduced workload?

  • In-house teams offer audit and reviews of organisational effectiveness combined with sharing resources, expertise and knowledge of what works well.
  • Provision of awareness raising on professional standards, misunderstanding and misconceptions on roles and responsibilities and networking to others across the trust to share and support developments.
  • Access to resources and updates on reducing workload as we were successful in bidding to support the DfE work and provided support, guidance and trials as a member of the Workload Advisory Group 2017/18 which resulted in the publication of the current toolkit summer 2018.
  • Good role models across schools in differing localities on differing improvement journeys, modelling the importance of the Nolan Principles of Public Life.
