Teamworks Teaching School Alliance

Teamworks TSA has been in operation since 2013 and works with all our MAT schools supporting their SDP priorities. It has a reach of partners across West Yorkshire who both contribute and receive support. The Teaching School remit is to deliver in the ‘Big 3’ school improvement areas:

1. The co-ordination and delivery of Initial Teacher training

2. Provision of high-quality school to school support

3. Provision of evidenced based CPD and leadership CPLD

With an additional responsibility for the brokerage for system leaders (SLE, LLE, NLG, NLEs) to schools in need.

We currently have active national and local system leaders commissioned and leading school to school support across Calderdale, Kirklees, Tameside, Bradford and Oldham. These NLEs/LLEs are currently involved in school to school support projects/bids in the two local Opportunity Areas: Bradford and Oldham. We have over 40 active cross-phase specialist leaders of education covering the full subject spectrum. These SLEs are working in ITT, School to school support and CPD provision in the 4 Local Authority areas in West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.
